Following a recent visit to European Commission President Romano Prodi, Rongji told a group of European business executives that he hoped his visit would lead to a wave of new investment in China. Otherwise, he said, the whole trip would be as much of a “Napoleonic fiasco” as his visit to the waterlogged battlefields of Waterloo. |
