Rome braced for student protests

Article reported that Italian students planned to take to the streets again on the 22 December 2010 in protest against cuts in education spending, raising fears of a repeat of rioting in Rome the previous week - the worst in over 30 years – when militants infiltrated a peaceful demonstration and clashed with police.
