Romania in line to receive €20bn IMF package

Article reports that Romania could receive about €20bn in an International Monetary Fund-led rescue package, March 2009. Romania’s move would make it the fourth east European country after Hungary, Ukraine and Latvia, to turn to international institutions for support since the onset of the financial crisis.
