Riots grip Stockholm suburbs after police shooting

Reports and analysis of social unrest in Stockholm and other cities in Sweden in May 2013, especially amongst immigrant communities and the young in the suburbs.

The Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet wrote 'The riots that have broken out in recent days in the suburbs of Stockholm show that the many immigrants who live there have not been integrated. The fault lies with the government and the lack of political will to take action on education and employment'.
