Review of fisheries in OECD countries. Country statistics 2000-2002

This publication contains statistics on fisheries and aquaculture in OECD countries for 2000, 2001 and 2002. Information is provided on government financial transfers, total allowable catches, landings, employment, fleet capacity and aquaculture production. Analytical work by the OECD on fisheries is carried out by the Committee for Fisheries and covers a wide range of issues related to management, resource conservation, trade and sustainable development.

Countries covered: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States and Argentina (observer).
