The Panel on Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), on 31 October 2008, issued an Opinion on the impact on the environment of the cultivation of maize Bt11 and 1507. This followed earlier Opinions issued in January and April 2005.
