	Summary: Leaders from South Korea and the European Union (EU) held a videoconference on 30 June 2020. Further information: The two sides discussed how to foster global cooperation in the post-COVID recovery phase and reaffirmed their commitment to overcoming this challenge by relying on a multilateral global system based on the internatinal organisations. Leaders also explored further areas of bilateral cooperation, taking into account the 10th anniversary of the EU-Republic of Korea Strategic Partnership. They further welcomed the recent signature of the EU-Republic of Korea horizontal aviation agreement.
