Report sees research and innovation as key to growth in Europe

A report, 'An agenda for a growing Europe: Making the EU economic system deliver', prepared by an independent high level study group at the request of European Commission President Romano Prodi and published in July 2003, has outlined a path for growth in Europe, which sees an emphasis on innovation, research and higher education.
