Report: Rampant corruption is aggravating EU crisis

EUObserver reported on a major study by the Berlin-based NGO, Transparency International, 'Money, Politics, Power: Corruption Risks in Europe', the results of which were discussed at a hearing in the European Parliament in Brussels on 6 June 2012.

This study concluded that: 'Corruption and lack of transparency are endemic throughout the EU, with direct links to the economic crisis'.
