Summary: Report presented on 1 October 2019 by the European Commission on Member States’ authorisation activities under Regulation (EU) 2019/125 in 2017 and 2018. Further information: Regulation (EC) No 1236/2005 concerning trade in certain goods which could be used for capital punishment, torture or other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment, codified and repealed by Regulation (EU) 2019/125, imposed certain restrictions on trade.
