Further information:The Motion proposed that the Joint Committee undertook an examination of the terms of the loans made available to Ireland from theĀ European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF) and theĀ European Financial Stability Mechanism (EFSM). The aim would be to ascertain whether or not Ireland had got the best possible interest rate on these loans. It also requested the attendance of representatives of the European Commission, the European Central Bank (ECB), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Eurogroup and the EFSF. |
