Report from the Commission to the European Parliament and the Council on the exercise of delegation of powers to the Commission to adopt delegated acts pursuant to Article 56 of Directive 2011/61/EU of 8 June 2011

Directive 2011/61/EU of 8 June 2011 on Alternative Investment Fund Managers and amending Directives 2003/41/EC and 2009/65/EC and Regulations (EC) No 1060/2009 and (EU) No 1095/2010 (AIFMD) conferred powers on the Commission to adopt delegated acts as referred to in Articles 3, 4, 9, 12, 14 to 25, 34 to 37, 40, 42, 53, 67 and 68 of that Directive. These powers have been conferred on the Commission for a period of 4 years from 21 July 2011, thus until 21 July 2015.

Pursuant to Article 56 of AIFMD the Commission has to draw up a report in respect of these delegated powers at latest 6 months before the end of the 4-year period, thus before 21 January 2015.
