Report dismisses ‘Europhobe’ idea of Britain’s EU isolation

The pro-European pressure group British Influence published in January 2015 its second scorecard of United Kingdom influence in Europe, an annual assessment of where Britain stood in the European league table.

The Scorecard is an annual assessment of how successful Britain’s government has been in its stated policy objectives within the EU, sector by sector, grading each policy area amber, green or red and comparing each with the score British Influence allocated for the previous year.

The report revealed that the UK won its aims in a majority of EU policies in 2015 but the public still believed Britain had no influence in Europe
