The French Minister for European Affairs, Noëlle Lenoir, met with the represetatives of the main professional organisations in the restaurant sector on 23 April 2003, in order to present them with details of progress made by France, on a European level, in attempting to establish a reduced rate of VAT in the restaurant sector.
