This consultation concerns funicular railways, cliff lifts, cable-cars, chair-lifts and drag-lifts. The intention of the Directive is to ensure that the standards for cableway components are harmonised across the European Communities, so that there can be free movement across borders. The extended closing date for responses to this consultation is 30 April 2003. |
