Abstract:
Building cooperative security systems at the regional level is new practice in international politics. The concept of regional security patnership is presented here, and a descriptive model is applied to the study of practice. Five cases of regional security partnership in Europe, East Asia, Central Asia, East Africa and the EU Neighbourhood are separately analyzed. Similarity and difference in the five cases are assessed in the concluding section, in which a comparative scheme is presented.
