Regional environmental statistics. Initial data collection results. Data 1980-1999

This publication highlights regional disparities within the European Union in water usage, waste water treatment and municipal and hazardous waste management. In the first part, regional data for each Member State are analysed. Then, comparison of the environment is made between European regions. The publication focuses on the relevant regional disparities within EU and, where possible, offers reasons for such differences.
