Refugees Work: A humanitarian investment that yields economic dividends

A report published by the Tent Foundation and Open Political Economy Network (OPEN) in May 2016 found the extent of the contribution made by refugees as workers, entrepreneurs, innovators, taxpayers, consumers and investors.

The study concluded that wealthy EU member states that accept refugees greatly benefitted from it economically. It does not analyse the impact of refugees in poor countries of the European Union.
