Railway safety performance in the European Union 2008

This report is the first of two major biennial reports that the European Railway Agency is required to deliver according to its founding regulation. It covers the years 2005 and 2006 and includes data that was submitted during 2007, in particular information that was collected through the public safety database from national bodies. A report on the development of interoperability will be published in 2009.
