The leading organisation of European rail operators is at odds with the European Commission over possible legislation on compensation for passengers and freight customers affected by late-running trains. The Community of European Railways (CER) - an organisation of 30 rail operators from across Europe - has argued against legislation, saying it would be too inflexible and unlikely to create real improvements in quality. |
