Proposal for a Decision on the mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund following an application from the Netherlands

On 12 July 2016, the Netherlands submitted application EGF/2016/005 NL/Drenthe Overijssel Retail for a financial contribution from the EGF, following redundancies in the retail sector in the regions of Drenthe and Overijssel. Following its assessment of this application, the Commission has concluded that the conditions for awarding a financial contribution from the EGF are met.
