Prodi’s Brussels team is prepared to soldier on into uncharted territory

Romano Prodi, the President of the European Commission, 1999-2004, said on 27 October 2004 that he and his colleagues stood ready to remain in their posts until the crisis with the European Parliament engulfing their successors under José Manuel Barroso was resolved.
