The Commission decided to establish the first 'White List' of 190 companies in Serbia to be excluded from the financial sanctions regime. This new sanctions regime entered into force on 1.7.00 and the list will be valid until 31.1.01. It will better target the financial sanctions against the Governments of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY) and Serbia. At the same time, it will exempt entities without connections with either of these Governments. |
