Press Release: Week devoted entirely to EU finds favour at the Forum

The concept of a 'European Week' in which the Dail (House of Representatives of Ireland) and parliaments throughout the EU would set aside the same week at the beginning of every year devoted entirely to debating the EU's proposed legislative programme, received a favourable response at the National Forum on Europe (established in Ireland in October 2001) according to Senator Maurice Hayes, the Forum chairman.
