Press Release: Warsaw Water supply and waste water treatment project gets EU financing

Danuta Hübner, European Commissioner for Regional Policy, on 12 December 2005 signed the Commission Decision granting financial assistance to the project 'Warsaw water supply and waste water treatment'. The total cost of the project was estimated at €405 million with a Community contribution of €248 million. The project was to improve the quality of drinking water and would also contribute to the considerable improvement in the health of local citizens.
