Press Release: Three legs, not one or two …! EESC calls on EU Member States to ensure implementation of all three pillars of the Lisbon strategy

After a two-day hearing with a variety of different contributions from representatives of Europe's National Economic and Social Councils the European Economic and Social Committee has called on Member States to ensure implementation of all three pillars of the Lisbon strategy - economic, social and environmental - and thus embrace its integral agenda and its global nature, 10 September 2004.
