Press Release: The Netherlands: Netherlands contributing to African Union Protection Force transport costs

The Netherlands and the United Kingdom will share the transport costs of the African Union Protection Force for Darfur which is composed of 308 soldiers from Nigeria and Rwanda. On Saturday 14 August, the first African forces will be transported from Kigali to Al Fashir to protect the African Union (AU) observers in Darfur and to make it possible for them to work more effectively and securely
