The first meeting of the Member State Committee of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) took place in Helsinki on 26-27 February 2008. This Committee will play a key role in decision making of the Agency. Its essential task will be to aim for unanimous agreements in such cases where EU Member States have diverging views on the Agency’s draft decisions or proposals for candidates as Substances of Very High Concern. |
