Press Release: The European public limited-liability company regulations

The European Public Limited-Liability Company Regulations 2004 were laid before the UK Parliament on 13 September 2004. The Regulations give effect in Great Britain to the European Company Statute and will come into force on 8 October 2004. The new form of company will be available to commercial bodies with operations in more than one Member State. Its use will be entirely voluntary.
