Press Release: The European Commission adopts its fifth report on visa waiver non-reciprocity with third countries and its ad-hoc report on the reintroduction of the visa requirement by Canada for Czech citizens

On 20 October 2009 the European Commission adopted its fifth report on certain third countries' maintenance of visa requirements in breach of the principle of reciprocity and the ad-hoc report on the reintroduction of the visa requirement by Canada for Czech citizens. The reports showed that – despite the set-back regarding Canada – further progress towards full visa reciprocity has been achieved.
