Press Release: The Commission continues its action to ensure the implementation of the Directive on security of electricity supply

The Commission addressed a reasoned opinion to Sweden for not having communicated the national measures transposing the provisions of the security of supply directive. The Commission confirmed its intention to follow up the implementation of internal energy market legislation and underlines the importance of the security of supply in the electricity sector.
