Press Release: Tenth meeting of the Cooperation Council between the European Union and Kazakhstan, Brussels, 16 September 2008

The EU - Kazakhstan Cooperation Council held its tenth meeting on 16 September 2008. The meeting was chaired by Mr Vladimir Shkolnik, Minister of Industry and Trade of
Kazakhstan. The EU delegation was led by Mr Jean-Pierre Jouyet, Secretary of State for European Affairs of France. Also present were Mr Karel Schwarzenberg, Minister of
Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Mr Pierre Morel, EU Special Representative for Central Asia, and Mr Eneko Landaburu, Director General for External Relations at the
European Commission.
