The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), on 15 May 2006, convened a meeting with scientific representatives from the 25 EU Member States, Switzerland and Norway in Brussels to discuss how to strengthen scientific co-operation in the risk assessment of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs).
