Press Release: Statement by the spokesperson of HR Catherine Ashton, on Sahel region

The spokesperson of Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the Commission, stated that the European Union welcomed the meeting held on 17 March 2010 in Alger by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs representing seven States of the Sahel region on the issues of peace, security and development.
