Press Release: Statement by the spokesperson of EU High Representative, Catherine Ashton, on the detention of Ahmed Maher in Egypt

The High Representative Catherine Ashton on 12 May 2013 expressed her concerns about the detention on 10 May 2013 at the Cairo international airport of Ahmed Maher, leader of the 6 April Movement. She called on all parties involved in this transition to put the emphasis on dialogue, tolerance and an inclusive process.
