Press Release: Statement by President Prodi on the Flash Eurobarometer survey findings

Romano Prodi, President of the European Commission, issued a statement on 5 November 2003 expressing his concern at the findings of an EC Flash Eurobarometer survey. The survey, 'Iraq and peace in the world', published in October 2003, found that more than half the European Union public considers Israel a threat to world peace. Mr Prodi stressed that the findings did not reflect the views or policies of the Commission.
