Press Release: Statement by European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton on Polish plane crash, Brussels, 10 April 2010

Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/European Commission Vice-President, spoke by telephone on Saturday (April 10th 2010) with Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski. She expressed her condolences over the tragic plane crash which claimed the lives of many Polish officials and their families, including President Lech Kaczyński, Deputy Foreign Minister Andrzej Kremer, Military Chief of Staff Franciszek Gagor and Central bank governor Slawomir Skrzypek.
