Press Release: Statement by EU High Representative Catherine Ashton on the decision of the Swiss Government to apply quantitative restrictions to the free movement of EU citizens in Switzerland

The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the Commission expressed her regret regarding the decision of the Swiss Government to continue the quantitative limitations adopted last year to the free movement of EU citizens who are nationals of eight Member States and to extend such restrictions to the nationals of the other Member States.
