	A European conference on 'Recent developments in European Industrial Relations' took place in The Hague, the Netherlands, on 7-8 October 2004. The conference was organised by the Social and Economic Council of the Netherlands and the Dutch Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment, in collaboration with the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions, and the European Economic and Social Committee.
