At this Forum, which has been organised by the Commission and the French Presidency, ministers and delegates of the Member States of the EU and the applicant countries will meet representatives of sports bodies to discuss ways in which Community law can make allowance for the special nature of sports, the fight against doping, protection of young sportspeople, television rights for sporting events, the impact of the Internet on sport and the use of new technologies by sports organisations. |
