Press Release: Single sky agreement promises improved air travel in Europe

The EU Transport Council meeting in Brussels on 5-6 December 2002, reached political agreement on four regulations designed to create a Single European Sky. The regulations, which aim to ensure more effective use of airspace and provision of air traffic services within the European Union, were welcomed by UK Transport Minister, John Spellar, who took part in the talks.
