Press Release: Signature of an agreement with Switzerland on its participation in Youth in Action and lifelong learning programmes

An agreement was signed on 15 February 2010 between the European Union and the Swiss Confederation enabling Switzerland's participation in the "Youth in Action" programme and in the action programme for a lifelong learning (2007-2013). This will allow the EU and Switzerland to strengthen their cooperation in the area of youth, education and training.
