Seven new EU Member States became full Europol members on 1 September 2004. The new members are Cyprus, Czech Republic, Hungary, Latvia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia and Lithuania. The remaining three Member States, Malta, Poland and Estonia, are also expected to join Europol before 2005. |
