The Directors of the European Agency for the Management of Operational Cooperation at the External Borders of the Member States of the European Union (FRONTEX), the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) and the Community Fisheries Control Agency (CFCA) met in Lisbon on 18 August 2009 – the second such meeting of its type. The Directors discussed two focal areas of common interest: maritime surveillance and the use of common maritime assets. |
