Press Release: Second EU-Pakistan Summit, Brussels, 4 June 2010 – Joint Statement

The second EU-Pakistan Summit was held in Brussels on 4 June 2010. The EU was represented by Mr Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Council and by Mr José Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission. Commissioner for Trade Karel De Gucht also took part. The Islamic Republic of Pakistan was represented by Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, with Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Commerce Minister Makhdoom Mohammad Amin Fahim also in attendance.
