Press Release: Sample single payment application forms issued in England

Farmers and landowners in England received sample application forms for the new Single Payment Scheme (SPS) in February 2005, ahead of the real applications which were due to be sent out in late March/early April. A brochure, 'Information for Farmers and Growers, February 2005 update' was also distributed to 180,000 farmers and landowners in England. It is the latest in a series of brochures detailing the policy underpinning the SPS and giving information on how it will be implemented.

The update also contains further SPS information on the National Reserve, Commons, Special Entitlements and other schemes for which application will also be via the SPS application form.
