The International Road Transport Union maintains that the European Commission's decision in the case of Ryanair and state aid from the Belgium Government in subsidising the airline's operations at Charleroi airport, does not eliminate the fundamental discrimination which gives airlines an unfair competitive advantage over coach operators.
