Press Release: Romania: The SAPARD Agency approved payments of about 33 million euro during last week

The SAPARD Agency made total payments of 104.38 million euro for the measures 1.1 'Improvement of the agricultural products processing and marketing' and 2.1 'Development and improvement of the rural infrastructure'. During the last week there were authorized payments of about 33 million euro for 174 payment applications presented by the beneficiaries.

Till the date of August 31, 2004, the SAPARD Agency contracted 912 projects, the SAPARD contribution for these being 559.43 million euro
