Press Release: Report on the health of young Europeans shows positive trends

The European Commission published on 20.3.00 a report on the health of young people (15 - 24 years) throughout the EU. The report is part of a series which aims to provide policy makers and analysts with a comparative overview of the health of the EU population, or of specific groups within it. The Commission will take into account in its policy initiatives the evidence and lessons of this report. Current European public health action programmes include a range of prevention activities which target young people.
