Press Release: Remarks by President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy after his meeting with Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk

On 25 January 2014 President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy met with Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk. They discussed the situation in Ukraine. President Van Rompuy strongly deplored and condemned the unjustified use of force and brutality by the Ukrainian authorities against demonstrators.

He also attended the Grand Gala of Polish Business Leaders in Warsaw.

On 30 January 2014, Donald Tusk met the President of the European Commission José Manuel Durão Barroso. They also discussed the situation in Ukraine.
